CDAV steunt onderstaande verklaring van het Oekraïense vrouwen Congres, dat gaat over een rechtvaardige vergelding voor de oorlogsmisdaden en misdaden tegen de mensheid, begaan door Rusland in de oorlog tegen Oekraïne. Het Oekraïense vrouwen Congres doet een oproep aan alle regeringsleiders en maatschappelijke activisten om correcte informatie te verspreiden, internationale herkenning te geven en zich uit te spreken tegen de gruweldaden van deze oorlog. Het doel is om zoveel mogelijk bewijsmateriaal te verzamelen en Rusland te dagen voor het Internationaal Gerechtshof.

STATEMENT OF THE UKRAINIAN WOMEN'S CONGRESS ON JUST RETRIBUTION FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY COMMITTED BY RUSSIA IN THE WAR AGAINST UKRAINE

Today, in the darkest times in its recent history, the Ukrainian people serves as a shield protecting the whole world in the struggle for peace and freedom. For more than 40 days, the Ukrainians have been boldly resisting Russian aggression, defeating the enemy with dignity, and adhering to the recognized warfare rules and principles of international humanitarian law. But the enemy ignores these rules and demonstrates unprecedented cruelty.

What we saw the other day in the towns around the capital is striking in its cruelty. Civilians tortured and killed in the back of the head, innocent women raped and murdered, small children were also taken vengeance by the bloody occupier. The events in Ukraine are the largest catastrophe in Europe since the World War II, and the mass war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by russia are without hesitation the subject of the International Tribunal.

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the international partners, have been conducting investigations and documenting the facts of russia’s genocide of the Ukrainian people. These crimes and everyone who committed them, from the dictator putin himself, all the hierarchy of leaders and every soldier who committed crimes against the innocent Ukrainians, must be punished.

Ukrainian Women’s Congress appeals to the leaders of international organizations and governments of all countries, to the international women’s organizations and platforms, to the activists of women’s and human rights movement and to all the concerned people around the world -

TO CONDEMN the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by russia against the Ukrainians, and to make public statements about these events, to express their active position;

TO CONVEY the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by russia against the Ukrainians, using all possible international platforms and formats;

TO REACT against war crimes and crimes against humanity with every available legal and human rights mechanism, to facilitate actions aimed at fact documenting, to exchange information and crimes evidence to the international humanitarian organizations and the international court.

Ukrainian Women’s Congress also calls for continuing to support Ukraine in the war, especially to continue the pressure on governments to impose tougher sanctions in order to drain the russian military machine, to provide financial support to speed up the investigation, and to exclude russia from all the forms of international cooperation.

The war, waged by russia today, is aimed at denying the existence of the Ukrainian people. Women and children have fallen victims to current crimes, which contradicts war logic and demonstrates the brutality of the russian regime, which is tacitly supported by most of its citizens. We are convinced that understanding this cruel reality and its sincere condemnation will unite the efforts of Ukrainian and international women’s and human rights organizations in a common goal - to destroy this regime together and never allow it again.

We also remember the Ukrainian men and women who are still under occupation, therefore the wide international publicity of russia’s crimes against humanity is now extremely important, so as not to repeat the tragedy we saw in Bucha and Irpin and we will see in the regions liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

russia must bear the just retribution and every criminal must be brought before the international tribunal. We call for cooperation so that the just retribution for war criminals comes as soon as possible.

ЗАЯВА УКРАЇНСЬКОГО ЖІНОЧОГО КОНГРЕСУ ЩОДО СПРАВЕДЛИВОЇ ВІДПЛАТИ ЗА ЗЛОЧИНИ ПРОТИ ЛЮДЯНОСТІ ВЧИНЕНИХ РОСІЄЮ У ВІЙНІ ПРОТИ УКРАЇНИ

Сьогодні, у найтемніші часи у своїй новітній історії, український народ стоїть щитом на захисті цілого світу у боротьбі за мир та свободу. Уже понад 40 днів українці та українки сміливо протидіють російській агресії – долають ворога з гідністю й дотримуючись визнаних правил ведення війни та принципів міжнародного гуманітарного права. Але ворог нехтує такими правилами і демонструє небачену жорстокість.

Побачене днями у містечках довкола столиці вражає своєю жорстокістю. Закатовані та вбиті в потилицю цивільні, зґвалтовані та вбиті невинні жінки, маленькі діти, над якими кривавий окупант теж вчинив розправу. Події в Україні – це наймасштабніша катастрофа у Європі з часів Другої світової війни, а скоєні росією масові воєнні злочини та злочини проти людяності – без вагань предмет розгляду Міжнародного трибуналу.

Українські правоохоронні органи у співпраці з міжнародними партнерами вже ведуть слідчі дії та документують факти геноциду, вчиненого росією проти українського народу. Ці злочини і кожен, хто їх вчиняв – від персонально диктатора путіна, всіх керівників по вертикалі і до кожного солдата, що вчиняв злочини проти невинних українців, має бути покараний.

Український Жіночий Конгрес звертається до лідерів міжнародних організацій та урядів усіх країн світу, до міжнародних жіночих організацій та платформ, до активістів та активісток жіночого і правозахисного руху та до всіх небайдужих людей по цілому світу із закликом –

ЗАСУДИТИ воєнні злочини та злочини проти людяності, що були вчинені росією проти українців, та виступити з публічними заявами щодо цих подій, висловити активну позицію;

РОЗПОВІСТИ про воєнні злочини та злочини проти людяності, що були вчинені росією проти українців, використовуючи усі можливі міжнародні майданчики і формати;

ПРОТИДІЯТИ воєнним злочинам та злочинам проти людяності усіма юридичними та правозахисними механізмами, сприяти діям, що спрямовані на документування фактів, здійснювати обмін інформацією та передавати докази злочинів до міжнародних гуманітарних організацій та міжнародного суду.

Український Жіночий Конгрес також закликає продовжувати надавати підтримку Україні у війні, зокрема, продовжувати тиснути на уряди країн світу для впровадження жорсткіших пакетів санкцій та знекровлення російської воєнної машини, надавати фінансову підтримку для пришвидшення процедури розслідування, а також сприяти виключенню росії з усіх форматів міжнародного співробітництва.

Війна, яку сьогодні веде росія, спрямована на заперечення існування українському народу. Жінки та діти стали жертвами нинішніх злочинів, що суперечить логіці війни та демонструє всю жорстокість режиму, що панує в росії і який отримує мовчазну підтримку більшості своїх громадян. Впевнені, що розуміння цієї жорстокої реальності та її щире засудження об’єднають зусилля українських та міжнародних жіночих і правозахисних організацій у спільній меті – разом зруйнувати цей режим і ніколи знову не допустити подібного

Ми також пам’ятаємо про українців та українок, котрі досі перебувають в окупації, тож широкий міжнародний розголос довкола вчинених росією злочинів проти людяності зараз вкрай важливий, аби не повторити трагедії, яку ми побачили в Бучі, Ірпені та будемо бачити ще в регіонах звільнених від окупанта Збройними Силами України.

росія має понести справедливе покарання, а кожен злочинець – постати перед міжнародним трибуналом. Ми закликаємо співдіяти, аби момент справедливого покарання воєнних злочинців настав якомога скоріше.
