30 years of EU cohesion policy

This year cohesion policy celebrates its 30th anniversary. All past five programming periods show that cohesion policy had to adapt to changing and challenging conditions and adjust its objectives. Europe has changed so did cohesion policy, but it has always been a glue keeping Europe together.

On the initiative of Lambert van Nistelrooij, the European Parliament will host an exhibition in Strasbourg highlighting emblematic projects from across all member states. Among them also a project from Amsterdam. You are welcome to the opening of the exhibition on the 29th of May.
