In 2017 the EFF organised a fact finding mission in Albania. This fact finding proved that the Democratic party (DP) shows constructive behaviour towards the needed reforms. The DP is the only party that can play a role in the opposition and without opposition, Albania threatens to fall into a autocratical state. The EFF works together with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) in Albania.
Together with the KAS, the EFF organises projects with the youth wing (FRDP) of the DP.
Currently, the EFF does not organize trainings in Albania due to the strikes and boycots that started in the end of 2018.
